Golden Milk

After posting about my Turmeric latte aka Golden Milk this morning my inbox has filled up with recipe requests. First of all, I love hearing from each and everyone of you, and since so many have asked for the recipe I decided to share it with you. 

Normally I’d mix all the ingredients in an empty jar so it’s just to add a spoon to my hot milk. At the moment I’ve run out of that and just made a single serving this morning - will therefor give you the recipe for a single serving.

Ingredients

350ml Cashew milk (or any milk of your choice)
¼ tsp ground turmeric
¼ tsp ground cinnamon
¼ tsp ground ginger
1 tsp Raw Honey
Grind of black pepper

Method

I use Nespresso milk frother to get hot milk (if you don’t have that you can toss all the ingredients in a saucepan and whisk constantly over a gentle heat.) once the milk is hot, pour into a mug and add all the ingredients and whisk. Personally I use a bamboo whisk as I find this to avoid clumps, but you can use what you got. Then sprinkle with a little more cinnamon to serve.
